Great little cafe tucked away in the corner of the carpark, but well worth a visit. Great menu selection, well made coffee, excellent customer service in a clean and tidy cafe.

Always a great place to visit the cafe is fairly small but food and drinks are lovely. In the summer there is a lot of outside seating and it can get very busy. Then browse the artwork on two floors.

Excellent little cafe hidden in the corner of Allendale square. Wonderful GF caramel shortbread, good WiFi in an area which has very little signal. Would recommend stopping here, the staff were very friendly and welcoming.

We stayed at the Dale Manor for my hen do 2 weeks ago, this place is so convenient, nothing is too much trouble for them and they even open Sundays. Highly recommended and great price.

Called in here today with my wife and our two dogs. Outside seating was just the thing as the sun came out and made our visit even more pleasant! We were served by a very polite and cheerful young lady who apologised for the small wait for the table to be cleared, but in her defence they were busy. I ordered a latte and a sausage egg and black pudding sandwich, the sandwich was seriously amazing. Freshly cooked contents, golden yolk to the egg, the sausage I imagine is locally sourced and tasted amazing too and the black pudding was also cooked to perfection. My wife had the egg mayonnaise sandwich and commented on how fresh the roll was and also commented on how tasty the egg and mayonnaise was. She followed this with a cheese scone, which I must admit I pinched half 😁, again we'd be surprised if these scones weren't home baked! I can only give 5 stars but would willingly award more if possible. Well certainly be up that way again! A big thank you to all the staff!!Superb coffee and good selection of food with collaboration artist gallery.
Went in for a full breakfast, its one of the best breakfasts I've had in a long. Nice sausage and bacon was cooked to perfection. I'll definitely return

Lovely little spot in the middle of pretty Allendale. Does unpretentious British cafe food, at very reasonable prices. All day English breakfast is a winner - add some hash browns and it'd be perfect. Servers were lovely and friendly. Great to look around the forge afterwards too.
Great layout, wheelchair friendly and superb service. Menu for all tastes, snack, light bite to a meal. My food was lovely with a fresh side salad and a cafetierre for one with a good coffee. First class
Great to find a cafe open on a Monday these days. Pleasant place to sit in the hub of the village. The full breakfast was tasty with quality produce. Many thanks
Lovely food which was brought out promptly by the friendly staff. An excellent selection of entirely home made cakes available. Great outdoor seating available.
Stopped for lunch and the most delicious mushroom soup and cheese scone. Just as good as you'd make yourself. Lovely staff too
